New Orthopedic Surgeon from Texas, Michael A. Pappas, M.D., Joins OSNA

OSNA is pleased to announce the addition of Michael A. Pappas, M.D. Dr. Pappas will be practicing out of the Arizona Bone and Joint Division with locations in Phoenix and Scottsdale. Dr. Pappas joins us from the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Collum and Carney Clinic in Texarkana, Texas. Before joining Collum and Carney, Dr. Pappas held clinical positions at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Dr. Pappas attended Wayne State University School of Medicine and did both his General Surgery Internship and Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Following his residency, Dr. Pappas completed a research fellowship in orthopaedic surgery at the Musculoskeletal Research Center at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and subsequently completed a fellowship in Orthopaedic Traumatology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

OSNA, PLLC is pleased to announce the addition of E. Scott Frankel, M.D. Dr. Frankel, who was previously with another orthopedic group in the Phoenix area, is a board certified hand surgeon with 10 years of experience. Dr. Frankel attended University of Rochester Medical School in Rochester, New York.

He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Duke University and his fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at the Hand Center of San Antonio. He specializes in injuries of the hand, elbow and shoulder. Dr. Frankel joined the Arizona Hand and Wrist division of OSNA and works out of the Phoenix and Scottsdale offices.
