My grandmother had been working on me since I was 4 years old, saying "Wouldn't it be great to have a doctor in the family?" I really liked science in high school and was fascinated with the human body and how it worked. Without really thinking about it, I went into Pre-Med.

Although I entered medical school intending to be a heart surgeon, my passion for sports - both as a participant and a spectator - led me to sports medicine and orthopedic surgery. Unfortunately, I didn't have the talent or build to participate in sports professionally.

Most of my patients would agree that I connect with them on a personal level. I talk to them just like any other guy - like a friend would. My patients tell me that they appreciate that I don't talk TO them but WITH them. I always have my patients' best interest in mind. I know when to operate and when NOT to operate. I enjoy working with my patients to fix what's wrong. I enjoy, especially, working with people that are motivated to get better. As one of the team physicians for the Cardinals, Coyotes, Rockies, Cubs and several local high schools, as well as those of you who just want to get back to doing what YOU love, I'm very lucky that I get to work with many motivated individuals every day.
