I have two passions in life. Being an orthopedic surgeon is how I support my other passion - photography. I've been taking pictures since I was in 4th grade. Back then, I would collect pop bottles to trade in for 2 cents so that I could buy and develop film. My Dad was in the army and, at that time, army doctors didn't have the best reputation. I thought I could do better than that.

I chose orthopedics as my specialty because I was the guy always fixing things. When our lawnmower broke, I'd read a book and fix it. When the clock stopped working, I'd make it start. I figured out a better way to build a fence. I find my job fun. I don't think anyone can work long hours consistently if they don't love what they do. And I do. When we meet, you'll see that I'm not a stuffed shirt and I don't project the "white coat syndrome". My patients and I always have a connection. I give all of my patients more than enough time so you will never feel rushed out of my office.
