A Message from Jonathan Fox, M.D.
I love to see people get better and live their lives to the fullest. I became an orthopedic surgeon so I can help people reestablish their independence and return to the sports, hobbies and lifestyle they love and deserve. I have had the opportunity over the years to truly enjoy meeting, working with and restoring a wide range of patients to their favorite activities: from young surfers, dancers, boxers and a wide range of other athletes, to my senior athletes, (some former professional athletes), Hall of Fame rodeo riders and even a 92 year old bowler.

I always knew I was going to be an orthopedic surgeon. Even though that was a lofty goal for my family (none of them had even gone to college before me), they took me very seriously and supported me every step of the way. As a child, I used to take toys apart to see how they worked. As I got older, I loved working with my hands and fixing things and often restored old cars and motorcycles. Since math and science came easily to me, medical school and orthopedics was a perfect match for my career.

Following my orthopedic residency, I decided to go to Munich, Germany for a fellowship in orthopedic trauma. I wanted to work with the best surgeons and get the best experience possible restoring people who have had complicated fractures. It was a great education for me and allowed me to return to Phoenix in 1985 to open a private practice where I could focus on surgically repairing many fractures and helping people recover beyond the expectations of themselves and others.

As a physician, one of the most important benefits I can offer my patients is to help them feel that by contacting my office and speaking with my warm, caring and efficient staff, their healing process has already begun. We want our patients to know that they have come to the right place to ask their questions and get answers. It is our priority to help our patients understand what is going on and what we can do to help them meet their recovery goals. And most importantly, we let our patients know that we are a team and they are the most important part of that team: that their recovery has a little bit to do with what we do, and a lot to do with them. We are here to strengthen their motivation and encourage them to actively participate in their treatment plan to reach their rehabilitation goals and achieve their personal success.

It is a pleasure for me to watch my patients return to activities they couldn't do before seeing me. Some of my patients even learn some new activities! The end result is to see my patients happy. When my patients are happy, I am happy.

Our doors are open to team up with you to achieve the orthopedic and rehabilitative goals and results you have set for yourself.

Please call us and let us know how we can help you.
