My father was an orthopedic surgeon and started Canyon Orthopedic Surgeons in 1961. I am now the senior partner of this same group. Being the son of a physician, I knew I was going to go into medicine at a very young age. It wasn't until I got into my training that I could see why my father chose orthopedics. I like the variety of medical problems and ages that we see. I was born and raised in Arizona and I met my wife in medical school at U of A. She is a GI doctor here in town.

I try to keep my office very personal. We don't have any physician extenders in our office so all of your time in our office is spent with a doctor. I have a patient-oriented approach to care and I think there's value to developing that doctor-patient relationship.
