A Message from Amber Hennenhoefer, D.O.
I have known I wanted to be either a doctor or a gymnastics coach since I was a kid. My grandfather was a family practitioner in Bisbee, Arizona and I loved the days I spent in his office with him. I had the opportunity to coach gymnastics in college which probably got that out of my system. After that, I knew that I was bound for medical school.

I chose Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as my specialty because I was interested in treating sports medicine injuries without surgery. I knew there were many different options for patients and I wanted to be in a position to help them decide the best one for them. When treating my patient, I look at not just the injury, but their whole life and experiences in order to choose an appropriate treatment plan. My #1 goal is getting them back doing the things they love to do.

Primary Areas of Interest
• EMG/nerve conduction studies
• Conservative treatments of injuries
• Degenerative changes
