I always wanted to be a surgeon. As a college athlete playing soccer at UC San Diego, I felt sports medicine would be a good fit. As an orthopedic surgeon, I get to find a problem and then fix it in order to improve the lives of people and get them back to a higher level of functioning. I believe in teamwork with my patients. I take great pride in getting to know each of my patients personally and spending more time with you than most surgeons. Whether you are an athlete at the professional, high school or college level - or just a weekend warrior - I am dedicated to spending the time necessary to ensure you understand your condition and treatment options.
