I always knew I was going to be a doctor. I never wanted to be anything else. I like that in orthopedics, people get better. I enjoy sports and working with athletes. I spent 4 years in the US Air Force; upon discharge, I found out that Dr. Kenneth Krackow (a well-respected orthopedic surgeon) would be developing a new fellowship in Buffalo, New York. It would be his first time working with a single fellow and I jumped on that opportunity.

I enjoy what I do because I like helping people walk with less pain. I like improving my patients' lives by relieving the pain and disability of arthritis through both operative and non-operative treatment plans. One of my patients came to me recently for a second opinion because the first orthopedist she saw walked into the room, looked at her x-ray, told her she needed a knee replacement, and walked out again. She didn't want that doctor operating on her. Our philosophy in our office is that people still want to see and spend time with their doctor. I try to give everyone the time and attention they need to address all questions and concerns. I will be there for your follow up visits as well. I treat each and every one of my patients as the unique person that they are. Not just a number.
