Orthopedic surgery has allowed me the opportunity to positively impact the lives of many people. In my practice I try to help patients achieve the results they are looking for. Surgery is only a small part of that equation. I believe the determination and motivation of the patient following joint replacement surgery is the most important factor in achieving a good result. Too often patients underestimate the importance of their own involvement in the recovery process. One of the unique benefits of this specialty is the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with my patients. I strive to treat every patient as though they were a member of my own family. This often means motivating patients to help themselves. At the end of the day there is nothing more gratifying than the thanks of a happy patient.
